To activate Tune Sweeper, follow these steps...

  1. Download, install and launch Tune Sweeper.
  2. Select "Activate Tune Sweeper" from the "Help" menu in Tune Sweeper.
  3. Enter your activation code and click "Activate".
  4. Enter your email address, set a password and click "Activate Tune Sweeper" to complete the activation.

Detailed Steps

On purchasing Tune Sweeper you will have been emailed an activation code. The code starts with TSPC for the PC version and TSMC for the Mac version. Tune Sweeper 4 PC codes start with TSPF. If you previously purchased Tune Sweeper, you can retrieve your activation code here.

To activate Tune Sweeper, download latest version of Tune Sweeper.

Double-click on the Tune Sweeper installer on your desktop and follow the installation instructions. After installing the program, launch it from your desktop. When Tune Sweeper is running, select 'Activate Tune Sweeper' from the Help menu in Tune Sweeper.

Enter your activation code.

Enter your Tune Sweeper Activation Code

Finally, create a password for your new Tune Sweeper software. Once done, you will be running the full, unrestricted version of Tune Sweeper!

Please note that activation is only required for the Mac version of Tune Sweeper if purchased from Wide Angle Software website. The Mac App store version of Tune Sweeper does not require activation.

There is no activation link in the help menu or on the home page. How am I suppose to enter my activation code if there is no where to enter it?

@Jeffrey Langan If these options are not displayed, this suggests that Tune Sweeper is already activated. Please open a support ticket on our online helpdesk detailing whether Tune Sweeper is displaying that it is running in demonstration mode when attempting to remove duplicates.

I purchased Tune Sweeper, but it allows only one activation. I installed it on my iMac, and when I sweep to another user on the same computer Tune Sweeper requires new activation. This is very annoying. Install on my MacBookPro requires also new activation and new password.

I'm very satisfied with the Tune Sweeper running on my laptop. When I tried to install on my desktop--entering the activation code and password I was told that my password was incorrect. After several tries I asked to the password and received exactly the password I've been entering. What am I doing wrong?

I purchased TS4 in the Apple App store, and when installing it said "A newer version of Tune Sweeper is available"... when I click on "download" it then requires an activation code, which you're note supposed to need when being thru the App store.. How to I have the newest version from the App store without having to give an activation code? Thanks

@Kevan Kjar Please uninstall your current version and re-install from the Mac App Store. This will be the latest App store version and will not require an activation code. If you are incorrectly prompted to update within Tune Sweeper, please click cancel. Any update will be distributed directly through the Mac App Store.
