12-month and 6-month licenses
- Your activation code will remain active for a 12 month or 6 month period, respectively.
- Software can be installed and activated on a single computer.
- Device usage:
- TouchCopy: Can be used with any iPod, iPhone or iPad. There is no limit on the number of iPods or iOS devices connecting to the software.
- Droid Transfer: Can be used with any Android devices. There is no limit on the number of Androids you can connect wth the software.
- All software features are fully unrestricted for the 12-month / 6-month period and you can download free software updates during this time.
A 12 or 6 month license is not a subscription service, so it will not automatically renew after it expires. After the license period ends, to continue using the software, a new license purchase is required.
Lifetime license
- Your activation code never expires.
- Software can be installed and activated on 2 computers, either 2 Windows or 2 Mac computers depending on the license purchased. You cannot use a Windows license on a Mac and vice-versa, as PC and Mac activation codes are not interchangeable.
- Can be used with an unlimited number of iOS devices (TouchCopy) or Android devices (Droid Transfer).
- All software features are fully unrestricted for the lifetime of the product and we'll provide free software updates for up to 5 years after purchase. We reserve the right to charge for software upgrades if a substantial software development effort is required, to ensure its continuing compatibility with the latest devices and software updates. The software may also be discontinued should we be unable to continue maintaining it.
