To activate TouchCopy, follow these steps...

  1. Download and install TouchCopy.
  2. Launch TouchCopy and select "Activate TouchCopy" which can be found at the top-right of the main window.
  3. Enter your activation code and click "Activate".
  4. Enter your email address and create a password.
  5. Click "Activate TouchCopy".

Detailed Steps

This article details how to activate TouchCopy, please follow the steps below on how to activate TouchCopy manually.

Run TouchCopy by double clicking on the TouchCopy icon on your desktop (or from LaunchPad if you're on Mac). When the TouchCopy window opens, you will be able to see the 'Activate TouchCopy' button, located in the top right-hand side of the programs window (as seen below). If this button is not visible for you, this means that TouchCopy is already activated on your PC/Mac.


Activate TouchCopy on a new computer

Click this button and it will open a window prompt for you to enter your activation code which you received when purchasing TouchCopy. Enter you activation code in the box (1) and then click 'Activate' (2). If you don't have an activation code you can purchase one here.


Enter activation code to activate TouchCopy

You will then be asked to enter a password for your activation code, and a recovery email address for your password. This password is for security and anti-piracy reasons, and will only be needed should you have to re-activate TouchCopy at a later date or on a different computer.


Create password to activate TouchCopy

1. Enter a password for your activation code and then re-enter to confirm it. Please ensure that your password only contains alphanumeric characters and no punctuation, and is also less than 16 characters long, and note that TouchCopy passwords are case sensitive.

2. Enter your recovery email and again to confirm it. This recovery email is used should you forget your password in the future, when needing to re-activate TouchCopy.

3. Once you have completed the above information, click the 'Activate TouchCopy' button.

You will have now successfully activated TouchCopy, and the screen below should be displayed as confirmation. Click 'Close Window' to return to TouchCopy and begin using your software. All demo restrictions will now have been removed.

@Nick If you have since updated your device to iOS 10, TouchCopy 12 will no longer be able to read this content. TouchCopy 16 can read this content but is a paid upgrade from TouchCopy 16.

My old PC hard drive died. The activation code I thought I had was stored in the documents folder on that unit. I wanted to install my copy of Touchcopy software on my new laptop (replacement for the old PC) but it won't work. Do I have to purchase a new copy?

My activation code does not work. I purchased TouchCopy in Jully and it keeps saying my first numbers are incorrect?????
I have updated as directed but it keeps saying incorrect code when it is the code I was given and used previously.

I haven't received the activation code after my purchase and it's been over two hours. I've checked the spam folder on my email account and it's not there either. When I type my email in to retrieve code it doesn't recognize my email.
