  1. Download and install TouchCopy.
  2. Launch TouchCopy and select "Activate TouchCopy" which can be found at the top-right of the main window.
  3. Enter your activation code and click "Activate".
  4. Enter your email address and create a password.
  5. Click "Activate TouchCopy".

Detailed Steps

This article details how to activate TouchCopy, please follow the steps below on how to activate TouchCopy manually.

Run TouchCopy by double clicking on the TouchCopy icon on your desktop. When the TouchCopy window opens, you will be able to see the 'Activate TouchCopy' button, located in the top right hand side of the programs window (as seen below). If this button is not visible for you, this means that TouchCopy is already activated on your PC/Mac.


Click this button and it will open a window prompt for you to enter your activation code which you received when purchasing TouchCopy. Enter you activation code in the box (1) and then click 'Activate' (2). If you don't have an activation code you can purchase one here.


You will then be asked to enter a password for your activation code, and a recovery email address for your password. This password is for security and anti-piracy reasons, and will only be needed should you have to re-activate TouchCopy at a later date or on a different computer.


1. Enter a password for your activation code and then re-enter to confirm it. Please ensure that your password only contains alphanumeric characters and no punctuation, and note that TouchCopy passwords are case sensitive.

2. Enter your recovery email and again to confirm it. This recovery email is used should you forget your password in the future, when needing to re-activate TouchCopy.

3. Once you have completed the above information, click the 'Activate TouchCopy' button.

You will have now successfully activated TouchCopy, and the screen below should be displayed as confirmation. Click 'Close Window' to return to TouchCopy and begin using your software. All demo restrictions will now have been removed.

I haven't received the activation code after my purchase and it's been over two hours. I've checked the spam folder on my email account and it's not there either. When I type my email in to retrieve code it doesn't recognize my email.

@Pat Diamond Your activation code should have been displayed after purchasing. You should have also receive an email receipt of your purchase also containing your activation code. Please be sure to check your junk/spam folders. You can lookup your activation code using our free registration lookup service.

I can not activate my software!
I did activate it on a computer that doesn't work now and I tried to activate on a different computer. I think you said I can load it on 3 computers. It said it was already activated and asked for a password. I did that and I got an error 7.

@Joe Reed Error code 7 is a result of entering the wrong password. There is a send password feature in the software when activating if you have forgotten your password. If you contact our Helpdesk they will be able to reset your password for you.
