First, start Music Tag and open your music player app (iTunes, Apple Music, Windows Media Player, etc.). Find the music files you want to update, then drag and drop them into the files list on the left in Music Tag.

The files will now be added to Music Tag, where you can download, edit or remove tags and cover art.

Music Tag saves the corrected metadata directly to your music files, so the updated song titles, artists, albums, genres and artwork will be reflected in iTunes, Apple Music, Windows Media Player and other compatible music players.

Add iTunes or Apple Music files to Music Tag

Sometimes, iTunes or Apple Music may not immediately display the updated tags. To view the updated information, close your music player app and then relaunch it.

If the old tags are still shown, select the changed files in iTunes/Apple Music, right-click, and choose "Get Info". This should prompt the app to reload the updated file information. You can then close the window that appears.
