1. THIS AGREEMENT
This License Agreement ("Agreement") between you ("you" or "end user") and Wide Angle Software ("we" or "authors") governs your access and use of our software ("products"), websites, and technology.

By installing or using the products, you indicate your complete and unconditional acceptance of these terms and conditions. If you do not agree to the terms and conditions of this agreement promptly remove the products from your computer.

The authors reserve the right, at their discretion, to change or modify all or any part of this Agreement at any time, effective immediately upon notice published on https://www.wideanglesoftware.com/terms/ . Your continued use of the products constitutes your binding acceptance of these terms and conditions, including any changes or modifications made by the authors as permitted above. If at any time the terms and conditions of this Agreement are no longer acceptable to you, you should immediately cease all use of the products.

2. ACCEPTABLE USE POLICY
2.1 Our products may be used for lawful purposes only. Our software is to be used by you, the end user, for the backup and retrieval of lawfully owned copyrighted and non-copyrighted content from your own devices. You will not use any of our products for transferring copyrighted material or content that you do not legally own in a way that is not acceptable to the copyright owner.
2.2 Our products are intended for personal data recovery and backup, not forensic analysis. The authors cannot guarantee forensic accuracy of any data recovered while using the products.

3. COPYRIGHT AND INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY
Our products and websites are protected by copyright and intellectual property laws. All rights reserved. You may download content from the website for personal use, but modifying our software, copying the website, or using media without permission is prohibited.

4. YOUR OBLIGATIONS
4.1 You agree to satisfy yourself that the product meets your needs or purpose and it is your responsibility to determine that the product is ready for operational use before it is so used. If you are not qualified to make these assessments yourself, it is your responsibility to engage the services of someone with requisite expertise who can make that assessment for you.
4.2. It is your responsibility to ensure that you backup all your data and information whether stored on your computer, file server, workstations, or otherwise before you install our software. You will indemnify us and hold us harmless from any and all losses, damages, claims, or actions brought against us by you or any third party, arising from your failure to back up your data. This indemnity includes but is not limited to any loss of data, loss of revenue, loss of business opportunities, or any other consequential damages arising from such data loss.

5. LIMITED WARRANTY
Our software products and accompanying written materials are provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied, including, but not limited to the implied warranties of merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose. You expressly acknowledge and agree that the use of the product is at your sole risk. Neither the authors nor anyone else who has been involved in the creation, production or delivery of our products shall be liable for any direct, indirect, consequential or incidental damages arising out of the use or inability to use such product even if the authors have been advised of the possibility of such damages. This includes but is not exclusive to the loss of data or damage to any equipment.

6. PRODUCT DEMONSTRATION
You are entitled to download the products and use them for a specified trial period. The period of this trial and the limitations of the products during this time may be subject to change by the authors without prior notice. Once this trial period has expired you agree to either (a) Uninstall the software or (b) purchase an activation code to convert the trial program into a fully licensed product. Following clearance of payment, you will become the licensed owner of the product. By activating the software with the provided activation code, you declare the product to be fit for your purposes.

7. SINGLE USER LICENSE
When you purchase one of our products you are purchasing a single user license for sole use by the purchaser. If multiple users are to use the software, a license must be purchased for each user.

8. DISPUTE RESOLUTION
In the event of a dispute regarding your use of our products, we encourage you to contact our support team. We will strive to address your concerns and a find a solution to your issues. A refund is available for your purchase, providing you first reported the issue within 30 days of having placed an order for the product. Please see our refund policy for details.

9. UPDATES
Updates to minor, point releases, of our products are free of charge. The authors reserve the right to charge for major updates at a future date for major version number updates.

10. ACTIVATION CODE MONITOR
The authors reserve the right to monitor activation code usage within the products. Activation codes may be blocked at the authors discretion if the authors consider that the activation code been used in breech in terms of this agreement. Blocked activation codes will no longer be able to be used to register installations of the product.
