Welcome to the Tune Sweeper Manual.
Please Note. This manual describes the operation of version 1.020 of Tune Sweeper. This version of Tune Sweeper differs from previous versions. Users of Tune Sweeper earlier than version 1.020 should download the free upgrade.
Tune Sweeper scans your iTunes library for duplicate tracks. Tunes Sweeper displays the duplicate tracks it has found in such a way that its an easy task to select which of the tracks you want to remove from your iTunes library.
Removing duplicate tracks from iTunes keeps your music collection tidy and saves disk space.

Requirements
- Tune Sweeper runs under Microsoft Windows XP, Vista or Windows 7. Tune Sweeper is 32-Bit and 64-Bit compatible.
- Tune Sweeper works with iTunes 9 or iTunes 10, either of which must be installed on the PC in order for Tune Sweeper to operate.
- Tune Sweeper requires that Microsoft .NET framework 3.5 or higher be installed on your PC. The Tune Sweeper installer will tell you if you need to download the .NET framework separately. Usually - you will already have .NET installed with your operating system.
