iPodCopy re-branding.

Dear Customer,

We have received legal notification that the product name for our previous iPod backup solution, iPodCopy, violated Apple Trademark usage. Therefore, we have re-branded iPodCopy to TouchCopy. Rather, we have imported iPodCopy specific functionality into our existing TouchCopy product. Our Mac product has been re-branded TouchCopy but contains no extra functionality.

Please see below for details on how you can use your registration keys purchased for our previous TouchCopy and iPodCopy products in the new versions of TouchCopy for both the PC and Mac platforms.

iPodCopy for PC owners

For existing registered TouchCopy customers, this means that TouchCopy now has the ability to handle traditional touch wheel based iPods as well as any existing iPod Touch or iPhone device they may currently own.

For existing iPodCopy customers, this means that their registered software now also supports iPod Touch and iPhone devices.

TouchCopy now accept registration numbers for the original TouchCopy purchases and registration keys purchased for iPodCopy version 6 through to 8. TouchCopy does not accept iPodCopy for PC version 5 of lower registration keys.

Existing users of iPodCopy can upgrade to TouchCopy for free by visiting www.wideanglesoftware.com/touchcopy/ and downloading the current demo to their PC. Enter your existing purchased registration key for either TouchCopy or iPodCopy for PC.

iPodCopy for Mac Owners

iPodCopy for Mac has been re-branded TouchCopy for Mac. TouchCopy for Mac does not support iPod Touch or iPhone devices.

TouchCopy for Mac accepts any registration key purchased for iPodCopy for Mac.

Existing users of iPodCopy for Mac can upgrade to TouchCopy for Mac by visiting www.wideanglesoftware.com/touchcopy/ and download the current demo to their Mac. Enter your existing purchased registration key for iPodCopy for Mac.
