TouchCopy does not detect my iPhone or iPod Touch
Please try disconnecting and then connecting your device again with TouchCopy running. If this does not work, restart TouchCopy with your iPod Touch or iPhone still connected. Also, ensure your iPhone does not have a "Passcode Lock" - this would prevent TouchCopy detecting your iPhone.
Also, please ensure that you're using the latest version of TouchCopy. You can update TouchCopy from here for PC and here for Mac.
If you are running iPhone or iPod Touch software OS 3.0 or 3.1, you need to be using TouchCopy version 9.05 or higher.
iTunes is required for TouchCopy to detect your iPhone/iPod Touch. You can download iTunes from here.
Also, please make sure that your iPhone or iPod Touch has the latest software installed. TouchCopy has been tested with iPhone / iPod Touch software 1.1.1, 1.1.2, 1.1.3, 1.1.4, 1.1.5, 2.0, 2.1, 2.2.1, 3.0 and 3.1.
If your problems persist, please ensure that iTunes can find your iPod or iPhone. Occasionally, if the iPod database gets corrupted for some reason, neither TouchCopy nor iTunes will be able to find your iPod. Once iTunes has found your iPod, close down iTunes and try using TouchCopy again.
Check that the appropriate Windows Services are running on your PC as detailed here
