TouchCopy allows you to view, copy, manage and add appointments to your Calendars stored on your iPod. TouchCopy provides a complete mobile calendaring solution for standard click-wheel iPods.
For iOS devices, TouchCopy enables you to save your calendars from your device to your PC or Mac. The instructions below also provide details on how to transfer calendars copied by TouchCopy to another iOS device using iTunes.
To view calendars in TouchCopy, click the "Calendars" icon in the category list.
In TouchCopy, press the Calendar button in the top control panel. This will display the calendars stored on your device. To return to the music listings, press the Calendar button again or press the Back To Music button. You can toggle between the music listings and viewing calendars by pressing the Calendar button - even while copying or playing music.
You can copy all your calendars by clicking on "Copy Calendar" button in TouchCopy without selecting any individual calendar entries.
To copy individual calendars, click on the calendar you wish to copy and click on "Copy Calendar" in TouchCopy.
You can also copy individual events in your device calendar by right-clicking on an event and choosing "Save as iCal file".
By default your calendars will be saved as iCal files to your desktop. You can change the save location for your calendars in TouchCopy.
Double-clicking on the iCal files saved by TouchCopy will automatically import them to your usual calendar manager such as Outlook. You can then use iTunes to sync these iCal files to another iOS device. Connect your iOS device to your computer, open iTunes and chose your device under DEVICES in iTunes. Click on the Info tab in iTunes and check "Sync Calendars" with Outlook, and click on the "Sync" button.
In TouchCopy, press the Calendar button in the top control panel.
This will display the iPod Calendar Manager.
The calendar manager has a control bar that contains most of the controls needed to handle calendars on your iPod...

Note that for iOS based devices, the above control bar will only display "Export iCal" button in TouchCopy.
You select which day, week or month you are interested in viewing by using the date picker on the left hand side of the Calendar manager. When you click on a date in the Date Picker the main calendar view will change to reflect your selection.
You can then further select days and times in your calendar by making a selection in the main calendar view.
You can select to view your calendar in different ways. By Day, Working Week, Week or Month. You can change your preference by clicking on the appropriate button at the top of the main calendar view. Your preference is saved for the next time you use TouchCopy.
TouchCopy can export appointments stored on your iPod to iCal files on your local hard drive. Select the appointment you want to export as an iCal file and click the Export iCal button. TouchCopy will ask you where you want to save the iCal file to.
TouchCopy can add appointments from your iPod that exist as iCal files on your computer. Click the Import iCal button and browse to the location where you have the iCal file stored. Select the iCal file and press OK. That appointments detailed in the iCal file you select will be added to your iPod.
Adding an appointment feature in PC version of TouchCopy only.
To add an Appointment to your iPod, select the date and time in the main calendar view you want the appointment to occur and then click the Add button. You can also double click the point on the calendar you want the appointment to appear. The appointment editor will then open where you can then add the appointment detail. You can also fine tune when the appointment starts and finishes using the appointment editor.
When your done, click OK and the appointment will be shown in TouchCopy and added to your iPod.
Deleting an appointment feature in the PC version of TouchCopy only.
Select the appointment you wish to remove from your iPod in the main calendar view and click the Delete button. Please note that TouchCopy can only edit appointments that were created using TouchCopy or were imported via outlook synchronization.

Select the appointment you wish to edit and then click the Edit button. Please note that TouchCopy can only edit appointments that were created using TouchCopy or were imported via outlook synchronization.
Removing old appointments feature in the PC version of TouchCopy only.
In order to prevent your iPod becoming full of old appointments you no longer care about, TouchCopy lets you automatically remove appointment older than 30 days old. To remove such appointments click the Remove Old button.
