Working with multiple files
The Tag Tool will only allow you to edit one music file at time. In reality, however, you would probably have a bunch of file to work on.
By way of an example, say you want to edit all the tags in files from an Album. Load all the files for the album into Music Tag Tool by dragging the files into Music Tag Tool or selecting them in the File Open window.
In our example all the tracks contain no artwork, lyrics and only basic track information.
In the File List, select all the tracks. Now - any changes made in the editor will be applied to all the files. Click "Download Tags" - Music Tag Tool will search for Album art, meta data and lyrics from the web and fill in some of the information.
You can now make manual edits to the meta data, if needed. The changes will be applied to all the files highlighted. So, in this example, we will update Genre, Composer and Comments.
It is possible to change the Artwork and Lyrics manually for the selected files. This may be an alteration made to just one file or multiple files.
To save our changes to all the files modified ( identified by the files with red dots in the file list ), Click "Save Changes" in the tool bar.
