Welcome to the Media Sweeper Manual.
Media Sweeper scans your Media Player library for duplicate tracks. Tunes Sweeper displays the duplicate tracks it has found in such a way that its an easy task to select which of the tracks you want to remove from your Media Player library.
Removing duplicate tracks from Media Player keeps your music collection tidy and saves disk space.

Requirements
- Media Sweeper runs under Microsoft Windows XP, Vista or Windows 7. Media Sweeper is 32-Bit and 64-Bit compatible.
- Media Sweeper works with Windows Media Player 9or higher, either of which must be installed on the PC in order for Media Sweeper to operate.
- Media Sweeper requires that Microsoft .NET framework 3.5 or higher be installed on your PC. The Media Sweeper installer will tell you if you need to download the .NET framework separately. Usually - you will already have .NET installed with your operating system.
